Brandon Navarro and Jodi Brewster are Research Associates at the University of Miami’s Cooperative Institute of Marine and Atmospheric Studies and the Physical Oceanography Division of NOAA’s Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML). They are involved in the ARGO program at AOML.

Brief description:

The student will be processing and quality controlling for core profiling float (pressure, salinity, temperature) data to describe trends or seasonality. Prospective applicants should have an interest in oceanography. Basic programming and Python skills are highly desired; a strong willingness to learn/enhance these skills is required.
